BioProfile® FLEX2

BioProfile FLEX2 combines Nova's groundbreaking Microsensor Card technology with optical measurement and freezing point osmometry in an automated and comprehensive cell culture analysis, eliminating the need for sensor maintenance, increasing speed, and reducing sample volume. The full range of parameters measured on FLEX2 includes Glucose, Lactate, Glutamine, Glutamate, Ammonium, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, pH, pCO2, pO2, total cell density, viable cell density, viability, cell diameter, and osmolality.

Compared to older generations of BioProfile, there is no need for maintenance of the 11 chemical and gas sensors. Sample volume is reduced by 75% to just 265µl, and measurement time is reduced to 4-5 minutes. Measurements from 96-well plates have been added, along with automatic quality control to reduce the need for manual sensor calibration.
